The Quran

What is the Quran

The Quran is the most fundamental and the greatest miracles of Islam for Muhammad(Peace be upon him), the last prophet of Islam. The quran is sent by the almighty and the most wise Allah for the mankind and jinnes to follow it to stay on the easy and simple path that is accepted by Allah. No human or jinnes or Saitan is  able to create a book as the Quran. This is the challenge from the creator Allah. No one is able to destroy it. Allah is the creator and Allah is the preserver of the holy Quran. Allah has sent it to recite and follow it.It is the resource of all  knowledge, hidayat and analysis for the wise.

Quarn according to  the holy Quran

What is Quran and Why it is sent from Allah?

2. This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].

(Ref: Surah Al-Baqarah  verse:2)

103. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah’s Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

138. This (the Quran) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious – see V.2:2).

(Ref: Surah Al-Imran  verses:103,138)

105. Thus We explain variously the Verses so that they (the disbelievers) may say: “You have studied (the Books of the people of the Scripture and brought this Quran from that)” and that We may make the matter clear for the people who have knowledge.

155. And this is a blessed Book (the Quran) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allah (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. saved from the torment of Hell).

156. Lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: “The Book was only sent down to two sects before us (the Jews and the Christians), and for our part, we were in fact unaware of what they studied.”

(Ref:Surah Al Anam  Verses 105,155,156)

1. Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].

2. (This is the) Book (the Quran) sent down unto you (O Muhammad sm), so let not your breast be narrow therefrom, that you warn thereby, and a reminder unto the believers.

(Ref:Surah Al Araf  Verses 1,2)

1. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad ) the Book (the Quran), and has not placed therein any crookedness.

2. (He has made it) Straight to give warning (to the disbelievers) of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a fair reward (i.e. Paradise).

(Ref:Surah Al Kahaf Verses 1,2)

10. Indeed, We have sent down for you (O mankind) a Book, (the Quran) in which there is Dhikrukum, (your Reminder or an honour for you i.e. honour for the one who follows the teaching of the Quran and acts on its orders). Will you not then understand?

50. And this is a blessed Reminder (the Quran) which We have sent down, will you then (dare to) deny it?

(Ref:Surah Ambia Verses 10,50)

16. Thus have We sent it (this Qur’an) down (to Muhammad ) as clear signs, evidences and proofs, and surely, Allah guides whom He wills.

(Ref:Surah Al Hajj Verse 16)

1. Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad ) that he may be a warner to the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

(Ref:Surah Al Forkan Verse 1)

1. Ta-Sin.

[These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Quran, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear;

2. A guide (to the Right Path); and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)].

76. Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ.

77. And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers.

(Ref:Surah Al Naml Verses 1,2,76,77)

47. And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e this Quran) to you (O Muhammad ), and those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) aforetime] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like ‘Abdullah bin Salam) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayat [(proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc., and deny Our Oneness of Lordship and Our Oneness of worship and Our Oneness of Our Names and Qualities: i.e. Islamic Monotheism)].

48. Neither did you (O Muhammad ) read any book before it (this Quran), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted.

49. Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

(Ref:Surah Ankabut Verses 47-49)

1. AlifLamMim.

[These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.]

2. These are Verses of the Wise Book (the Quran).

(Ref:Surah Loqman Verses 3-4)

29. (This is) a Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember.

86. Say (O Muhammad ): “No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist).

87. “It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

(Ref:Surah Saad Verses 29,86,87)

28. An Arabic Quran, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allah has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him.

(Ref:Surah Az Zumar Verse 28)

20. This (Qur’an) is a clear insight and evidence for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for people who have Faith with certainty

(Ref:Surah Jasia Verse 20)

9. It is He Who sends down manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad ) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful.

(Ref:Surah Al Hadid Verse 9)

2. He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad ) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur’an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad ). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error;

(Ref:Surah Al Zumah Verse 2)

51. And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes through hatredness when they hear the Reminder (the Quran), and they say: “Verily, he (Muhammad ) is a madman!”

52. But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)

(Ref:Surah Qalam Verse 51,52)

48. And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious )

(Ref:Surah Haqqa Verse 48)

25. And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan).

27. Verily, this (the Qur’an) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

28. To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight.

(Ref:Surah At Takwir Verse 25,27,28)

13. Verily! This (the Qur’an) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).

14. And it is not a thing for amusement.

(Ref:Surah At Tariq Verses 13-14)
