Who is Muhammad


The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and the best prophet in Islam. Allah has given him some special qualities and honor among other prophets. Allah has sent him as rohomot (peace) for mankind. Allah has created his soul first but has sent him as the last prophet. He is the example of an ideal human . Muhammad (pbuh) implemented the Quran on his life and activities. His activities is called hadith (sunnah) which is the explanation of the Quran.

Muhammad (pbuh) the last prophet of islam was born on 570 AD at Makkah in Saudi Arabia at the largest community Quraesh. His father’s name is Abdullah and mother’s name is Amina. He got prophecy from Allah at 40 years of age. He started a renessa of Islam. He implemented Islamic rules regulation ideal fully in his life and ordered his followers to follow him fully as Allah says in the Quran.

 Muhammad (pbuh) in the Quran

Muhammad (pbh) is a messenger for warning mankind and jinnes

144. Muhammad () is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.

2. (This is the) Book (the Qur’an) sent down unto you (O Muhammad ), so let not your breast be narrow therefrom, that you warn thereby, and a reminder unto the believers.

(ref: Surah Al Araf verse:2; 7:1:2)

2. (Saying) worship none but Allah. Verily, I (Muhammad ) am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of glad tidings.
(ref: Surah Hud verse:2;  11:1:2)

49. Say (O Muhammad ): “O mankind! I am (sent) to you only as a plain warner.”

(ref: Surah Hajj verse:49; 14:22:49)

1. Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Qur’an) to His slave (Muhammad ) that he may be a warner to the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

(ref: Surah Al Furqan verse:1; 18:25:1)

65. Say (O Muhammad ): “I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible,

66. “The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.”

67. Say: “That (this Qur’an) is a great news,

68. “From which you turn away!

69. “I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).

70. “Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner.”

9. Say (O Muhammad ):”I am not a new thing among the Messengers (of Allah) (i.e. I am not the first Messenger) nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am but a plain warner.”

(ref: Surah Al Ahqaf verse: 9; 26:46:9)

2. Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad ) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: “This is a strange thing!

(ref: Surah Qaf verse: 2; 26:50:2)

56. This (Muhammad ) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old .

(ref: Surah An Najam verse: 56; 27:53:56)

7. Believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allah’s Way), theirs will be a great reward.

8. And what is the matter with you that you believe not in Allah! While the Messenger (Muhammad ) invites you to believe in your Lord (Allah), and He (Allah) has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers.

9. It is He Who sends down manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad ) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful.
